Well we were just having too much fun and had met too many wonderful people to leave Dublin so we decided to have one more night of craziness. Waking up around 11, we were shocked to discover another beautiful sunny day. The local Irish folk were turning from lobster red to ruby red and frantically applying SPF 40 on themselves while jared and I enjoyed walking around with out shirts off. People thought we were crazy until they heard we were from california. With our new friend Lee, from Austrialia, we set out with a mission to find the Guinness factory. We walked about 5 miles in the wrong direction and ended up in a rather "dodgy" section of Dublin. We made the best of it and finally managed to find the brewery.....then we quickly decided not to spend the 15 euro on the tour since none of us really like Guinness (neither did alot of the locals whom all claimed Henekein is the best beer in the world). We had learned earlier in the week that there was a great soccer match on....the FA cup Final between Chelsea and Everton.....so we decided to stay way out in Dublin 8 and find a truly local pub to watch the game in. Boy did we accomplish that goal.....we found the dirtiest, most depressing, most authentic pub I have ever seen. We enjoyed some super greasy fish and chips and cold pint. Back at the hostel we decided as a group to do one of the most touristy things possible....an organized pub crawl through dublin. So we set out in a big group to meet infront of Trinity College for the pub crawl. So equipped with our magical wristbands we blindly followed our slightly inebriated irish tour guides through various pubs and clubs. It was great fun. Next Stop Belfast...
